Photoshoot at PIP workout Wednesday 19th

Great news – USMS is planning an article for Swimmer Magazine (Jan/Feb 2012
issue) on how so many of the GBM swimmers helped to save the Portsmouth Indoor
Pool. As you know, many GBM folks were KEY to this accomplishment and without
them it wouldn't have happened.

Please get to the pool around 6:45pm to get organized so that we can take the
picture right at 7:00pm and then get practice started! The plan is to have the
team in the water and a few city members standing on the deck.

Please come out and show your support for GBM and the pool!

REMINDER: City Meeting on Pool Monday10/3 7pm

We will attend this meeting instead of having practice at the Portsmouth pool.

We are very close to finishing the deal with the City which will allow the pool
to stay open for the next 5-years......and beyond! Please help finish the job
and join SIPP in OPERATION 'STAND UP' for the POOL.

WHEN: Monday, October 3, 7PM- sharp ( the pool is 1st in the agenda)

WHERE: City Hall, Portsmouth (1 Junkins Ave)

WHY: This is a Public Hearing that is required for the pool to receive the
initial FY12 funding needed as part of the lease agreement. The actual lease
agreement is soon to follow.

YOUR JOB: When a SIPP representative asks the pool supporters to stand up,
please stand up. This will show your support during the statement made by SIPP.
Please know - you are welcome to participate in the public hearing by making
your own individual statement.

OPERATION 'STAND UP' for the POOL is solely intended to streamline the hearing
process and make it easier for those wanting to show support. Please contact
Jennifer Zorn, at the SIPP Public Affairs Office if you have any questions or
concerns. She can be reached at 603.501.0982 orJennifer@zornconsulting.com
