[GBM ENews List] Sunday 6/29 Workout Indoors

FYI- This Sundays workout, June 29th, will be at the Dover Indoor Pool due to a youth swim meet.

Monday we will be back outside at the Jenny Thompson Pool.

[GBM ENews List] JT Meet and FINA Worlds

Hi Team

What a fantastic day for the JT LCM meet! Wonderful weather, great swimming.

HUGE THANKS to Meet Director Crystie and her fab team of volunteers for running a great show for us!

ARE YOU GOING TO FINA Worlds? If so please let us know. Gail P, who is going to be there all week, has very kindly volunteered to be our team GBM coordinator at the event We are going to put together a list of those going, when, where staying and contact details, so we can all easily communicate with our team mates during the event. I'll be there for the second weekend, planning to swim the 400free and 3k open water.

Summer is here! Enjoy!

[GBM ENews List] JT Meet Sunday & Summer Schedule Monday

Happy Summer GBM'ers!

If you haven't made it outside yet - Sunday is your chance! We are hosting our annual LCM meet at the Jenny Thompson Pool this Sunday, June 22nd. Warm Up at 8 am, deck entries close at 8:30 am and meet starts at 9 am. Weather is looking partly cloudy with a high of 76 - perfect meet weather! The entry form is attached!

We still need volunteers - without them we can't run the meet! We need a minimum of 10 people for the duration of the meet to help with timing - currently we only have 6.

After the meet we will head to La Festa for pizza and cold beverages! There will also be a GBM Board meeting during this time - sit in if you are interested in learning more about the inner workings of the team!

[GBM ENews List] Dover - This Thursday & Sunday Indoors

There is a youth swim meet at the Jenny Thompson Pool this weekend so our workouts will be moved to the Dover Indoor Pool on Thursday 6/5 (6:30pm) and Sunday 6/8 (9am), times will be the same.

[GBM ENews List] Annual Meeting, Summer Schedule, Meet

Hello GBM'ers!

Hope you got out to enjoy the gorgeous weather today! A few updates:

Sunday, June 8th, 2:00 PM - NELMSC Annual Meeting- worth attending to see two of our illustrious team mates get new awards (Dick Arnold & Guy Davis for high points). HOLIDAY INN BOXBOROUGH, 242 Adams Place, Boxborough, MA 01719. Also if you are interested in learning more about the governing body for New England swimming.

Dover Winter Membership ended today, June 1, so you will need to purchase your summer pass to continue swimming. Masters only pass is $100 for residents, $140 for non-residents. 12 visit punch pass is $50 resident, $70 non-resident. Drop in is $7. Current workout times are tues/thurs 6:30pm and sunday 9-11am.

Schedule Change Monday, June 23rd - we start Mon/Tues/Thur 6-7:30pm, Sun 9-11am at the Jenny Thompson Pool.

We host our Summer Meet on Sunday, June 22nd. This is a fundraiser for our team and is early this year to accommodate long course racing prior to worlds. The entry form is attached. Even if you do not want to swim we REALLY NEED VOLUNTEERS to help with timing & general meet running tasks. Please let me know if you are able to help (or bring others to help!).
