GBM and USMS 2012-13 membership

Hi GBMers present, past and future!
The system is now open for you to renew your membership for 2013 or to sign up
for the first time. If you are a 2012 member, your membership is good until Dec
31st 2012 and you will need to renew by the end of the year. If you a new or
returning member, you can register now and your membership will be effectively
immediately and good until Dec 31st 2013.

By doing so you will:
1. Support and sustain GBM's mission to offer friendly, fun, professionally
coached adult swimming to the NH seacoast community.
2. Gain all the benefits of USMS membership

bi-monthly adult swimming magazine "Swimmer", and eligibility to participate in
USMS sanctioned pool, postal and open water competitions, including the New
England Short Course Meters Championship hosted by GBM which will take place on
the weekend of Dec 7th-9th, 2012 at Boston University's excellent aquatic facility.
The cost of annual GBM/USMS membership is the extremely modest sum of $53. Of
this, $38 represents USMS membership($33) and local masters swim committee fees
($5), while $15 will go directly to GBM club funds to support coaching and pool
access.

We are a volunteer based non-profit organization. GBMers are also very active
throughout the seacoast aquatic community both as members of our club and
through association with other aquatic organizations and community initiatives
to promote fitness, competition and open water swimming. These activities
include supporting the mission to keep the Dover pools in operation and
supporting the Save the Indoor Portsmouth Pool (SIPP) project.
